A friend got killed last night in a farm attack. - RIP Jasper von Kleist. Wife shot in the arm and recovering in Hospital. He leaves behind 2 daughters and grand children.

TOM BURKE PLAASAANVAL
Jasper von Kleist (61) is gisteraand deur plaasaanvallers op die plaas Dale in Tom Burke-omgewing doodgeskiet. Hy was die plaasvoorman.
Volgens inligting ontvang van lede van die Heritage Protection Group (HPG) wat op die toneel was, het Charlie Solomon (die seun van die eienaar van die plaas, Nico Solomon) by sy pa-hulle geëet en hy was op pad terug na sy huis toe net 'n ent daarvandaan. Hy het sy hond geroep en dié was onrustig. Die volgende oomblik het vier verdagtes verskyn en op hom begin skiet. Hy het gehardloop en is in sy bobeen/boud geskiet. Volgens HPG het die verdagtes hom gevolg en tot voor die skuifdeur skote geskiet.
Die verdagtes is daarna na Jasper se huis en hy is doodgeskiet. Sy vriendin, Sonja Joubert, is in die arm gewond en vasgebind, maar is deur helpers wat by die toneel opgedaag het losgemaak en per ambulans na Mediclinic Lephalale geneem. Sy is reeds uit die hospitaal ontslaan.
Nico Solomon en sy vriendin Amanda Joubert is ongedeerd.
Daar word tot dusver net selfone vermis en die motief vir die aanval is onbekend.
Geen verdagtes is nog in verband met die voorval gearresteer nie. Mogol Pos sal julle op hoogte hou as daar enige verwikkelinge is.

Perhaps, what we need is a proper website setup, which consists of only a database of confirmed farm attacks and murders. Does anyone know if one exist, or where one can find a database? I think a massive public platform should be set up for the world to see.

This is the type of database that needs to be updated daily with new attacks and murders and the world should be able to read on each attack.

Pretty sure they do have it, but there is a reason why they did not publish the list anywhere. What it may be, I do not know. I do have the list of 3000+ from 1993-2010 though, but nothing more.
