Farm Attacks

You watch too many movies. Farm attackers aren't seal team 6. Just having a dog that bark can alert you. If you have a proper fence around your house like palisades. You will have time to defend yourself.

Sure rambo.

Any links to CCTV video of such attacks available or news stories? Anything to back up such extreme assertions? Oh, I do believe sometimes it's big groups of 6 or 10, but some of those claims of yours...

I'm surprised that you don't say they blow your security doors away with C4.

I work in the sector. Have for over a decade and I work closely with several security groups like the HPG and the SAPS. It is hard for people to understand how well organized crime in general is. Attacks on remote farms where you can get lost in the daytime takes some planning if you are planning attacks like these in the night.

I can't provide you with proof but you can feel free to contact HPG or afriforum and ask them. Each case is different but farm attacks are increasingly more sophisticated.

I will say it again. It does not matter how high your walls, how many dogs you have, how far your motion sensors detect movement into the darkness.

If they know what security you have it is literally as good as having nothing at all. People armed with ak's, cell phone jammers, several vehicles and bullet proof vests are not your garden variety burglars or robbers.

They plan to crush resistance before the target can realize what is happening. The same style of attack is effective against modern military units what chance does the average farmer have?

A fort will not protect you.

Hectic stuff.

I call BS. Next your going to tell us you're are a recce or something.

Here is a vid from AfriForum showing some sneaking around but not really anything more (I see some physical security, but no indication of electronic or biological security):

About that video:

https://southafricatoday.net/media/...videos/farm-invasion-mpumalanga-cctv-footage/

Pieter du Preez (37), a farmer from Mpumalanga, is hoping the CCTV footage of four armed men walking along the fence of his yard, will serve as a warning for people to enhance their security.

Du Preez said the incident happened on Thursday morning, but only later saw the footage on the CCTV camera of four men walking with weapons in their hands next to his farmhouse fence.

He added that there are three properties on his farm between Hazyview and White River. “At first they walked along my fence and then they went to the warehouse. Here they tied up a security guard.”

“The suspects then went to another house on the farm, but something must have frightened them off because they did not break in and enter. There was no one at home. ”

Du Preez believes the suspects decided to avoid entering his property because of the cameras, alarms, and fencing. “I am grateful that no one was injured or that any shots were fired.”

“I think farmers and people on farms should enhance their safety and not become disillusioned.”

In the city we have to be aware of the snake people (they may occur on farms too):

What on earth led you to this reply? I work in limpopo in the rural area's. We service thousands of farms of product. The majority of attacks are well planned and executed.

If you don't believe me nothing much I can do. But the HPG/AF exists and you can give them a call any time and ask. Maybe do that before posting again.

I didn't even bother posting that one, they can't even get through the fence with their super skills and I don't see AKs or jammer backpacks or anything like that.

Why are you spamming the thread now?

The physical security is very lacking, im surprised they have the cameras. Glass sliding doors without some kind of security trellydoor. And how did they get past the security gate in the hallway? Probably climbed through a open window in one of the rooms.

RIP
Condolences to friends and family. The only solution is mob justice. These are highly intelligent beings that know how to play the police. They don't deserve to live.

I wanted to make a joke about the Guptas but it would be a little insensitive.

Because it really isn't about the money, never has been, no matter how many times the ANC and DA tell us differently.

Taking what you want is what common crooks do, I don't think we are not dealing with those here.

True, these are just bastards that should be hung from their appendages from a tree until they bleed to death.

It may be about a lot if things. Remember there's a belief that people stash millions in concealed safes. They'll torture you until you reveal the secret stash.

Money and jewels
