Farm Attacks

@Seriously Let's resume.

First it was the "spike" in the last decade. Shown as false.

Second, it was 1994 and before. Changing goalposts and wrong again.

Third, it was switching the focus from the number of murders to the murder rate, without any demonstration of such spike.

Can you simply admit that you don't have a clue about what you're saying and just backpedal and make a fool of yourself by changing goalposts repeatedly?

It's not that hard to read and check facts before posting, I promise. You should try.

Nope. The country is up in arms for the farm murders for no reason. It's all a sham. So lets just continue untill there are no more white farmers left and the news will then reflect the black farm murders only.
So, as you seem to have all the statistics handy, how many black farmers, read
farm owners, were murdered in the same periods?

Looking at that report he posted. It does seem like it's more in the news now as it was back then (I agree) however, there is clearly a decrease. Why it's only being driven home now is anyone's guess. I'm actually very thankful it is, maybe that is the reason for the decline?

The Afriforum report includes white AND black farmers and makes no race distinction. Can't you read yourself? The white commercial farmers will all be dead within 400 years at this rate of murder (and yet I don't even discount the blacks or the fact that white farmers have kids too).

How is the country up in arms? You might be, I haven't had a dicussion about it for months IRL. You little circle of friends might up in arms, my world and most of SA is not.

All I'm asking for is your numbers, the proof of your allegation, not your usual backpedaling BS spin where emotion > facts.

you have inadvertently already stated you live here in a bubble detached from whats really going on in this country. im not going to bother looking for the post, it wasnt too long ago. someone else also took you up on it in the same thread.

on top of that, you dont need to see past your own nose, you can just get up and go if **** hits the fan.

Maybe. Lets not forget the massive drop in white farmers or white farm owners with many more now giving in the towel. No matter the wolf paint the numbers the fact remains that white farmers are aimed at. I still want to see the stats that differentiate between white and black owned farmers murdered..

I spend from monday to friday in a rural mining and farming town for a project. I probably see more farms and farmers than you do.

We are 3 employees not from the town, a dozen is from there.

Decline of farms.

Except that the murder stats are calculated on farms AND small holdings.

The farms represent only 60 000 of the 580 000 farms and small holdings.

There are not stats differentiating black and white farmers.

But whatever floats your boat, each of your posts is a bigger BS than the previous ones.

I still to want to see your spike in 1994 or in the last decade or whenever.

By all means.

We ourselves don't live on the farm no more. I'm not a commercial farmer, I'm a share holder of one. I grew up there in the 80s and 90s. Still go there every occasion I get. It's sad, though as it's an amazing place. The farm still runs 100%. My one brother drives in daily (he's the full time farmer now since my dad retired) But he stays in town.

Farm still purrs like a kitten.

But yes, there are devastating affects left by farm murders. I read somewhere it can take a farm up to 7 years to recover from a farmer being murdered. Each and every farm murder is extremely dear to my heart. I lost a very close friend what? 6 months ago or there about. Fact is, it's an issue, but not to an extend that it was back in the 90s/2000s.

That is a given fact!

You can get up and go to BTW. Heard of Musina, Reinaldo Garcia, Noerdewer, Mashatu? All border posts where you don't need visas.

You just want to stay.

Lawyering for them now? Is the project something to do with EWC in Mashado? Just asking.

I don't work in mining and it's not in Limpopo at all.

How is Mashado EWC when the government is paying and the expropriation notice was sent before EWC was even policy?

Need a bit of help with the facts again?

There are literally hundreds if not thousands of Chinese owned projects in SA, as I said they're nowhere close to being linked to each other. There's a chinese project of smelter 5kms away from my projects, we don't even know them, or their shareholders.

Don't get me wrong, I want Trump to send US troops to defend our farmers. I'm a staunch supporter against farm attacks and killings, I think most in here have traded blows with me on this before.

I'm all for the awareness, for all I know it could be the reason farmers are not killed in their thousands. Drive the awareness. But be honest about it. I can't fault the stats f2wohf posted as it's from the one organization currently doing everything in their power to create awareness. If anything they would have to inflate their stats to fit their agenda. So those stats are irrefutable. There is no denying there is a decline overall.

Not saying we don't have extremely bad years like we did last year iirc.

100% agreeing with you.

What I fight is the BS, fearmongering and propaganda of manipulating numbers and discrediting farmers. The real numbers speak for themselves, no need to make it what it's not.

@Seriously and all these deluded people are seriously not helping the farmers because it allows any EFF/BLF/farm murder supporter to discredit their numbers and hence their cause in a fraction of a second.
