Farm Attacks

A farm attacker standing next to a motionless Johan van Wyk, who was seriously injured after being shot multiple times in a farm attack on November 11, wanted to know what a box of rose petals on the dining room table would be used for.
When Van Wyk's fiancée Hanlie Barnard said it was to be used at their wedding in December, the attacker laughed and kicked Van Wyk, saying: "Why would you marry a dead man?"

****ing savages

Not an animal, just a sick POS human.

Humans are supposed to have compassion, that one of the big things separating us from wild savage animals, these "things" didn't even have that. That is just sad.

Threatening slogans painted on farmhouse 6 weeks before violent attack

About six weeks before a violent farm attack in Porterville, graffiti containing threatening phrases was spray-painted on the front door of the farmhouse, Netwerk24 reported.
"Kill the boer", "Viva Juju" and "Viva EFF" were reportedly painted in big red letters.
News24 earlier reported that a 50-year-old man and his 45-year-old wife were attacked in their Western Cape house on Sunday night.
Police are investigating cases of attempted murder and sexual assault.

"According to information, three unknown men entered the victims' home and assaulted both of them (husband and wife)," Western Cape police spokesperson Captain FC van Wyk said in a statement on Monday.
Both were transported to a medical facility for treatment, he said.
AfriForum's head of community safety Ian Cameron tweeted on Sunday: "They poured petrol over the male victim to burn him, but he managed to activate a panic button after which the attackers fled on foot."

Drugs. If only we could find a way to take down the the drug trade. Years ago, I was mugged by 2 cretins. One of them was clearly stoned. He insisted that they drag me to a deserted alley, shoot me and run away. His mate told him to chill as they got half of what they were looking for (cell phone).
You must be white then!

Where do they mention drugs?

Drugs, or rather to get the moola to procure it, are a cause of a lot of crime, and also impacts the violence in the crime as well.
Also the case here by us, but shouldn't be used in mitigation of sentencing, it should be worse for them as any reasonable person can surely foresee that drugs can make them do bad things and they willingly still use it.

True. And in some cases, perps take drugs to calm their nerves or suppress their their conscience.

Two killed in farm robbery involving 10-strong gang in Western Cape

Western Cape police have launched a manhunt after a robbery on a farm on Sunday left two people dead - a farmworker and one of the suspects. "It is alleged that at about 8.50 this morning, a farmer and his son were busy with maintenance work on the property (in the Phillipi area) when 10 men arrived on the pretence of conducting business," said police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana.

"One of the suspects took out a firearm and threatened the owner." The owner was forced to open a safe and to hand over an undisclosed amount of cash. "The owner, his son and farm employees were subsequently forced into a storeroom. One farmworker aged 31 was shot in the scuffle and he died on his way to hospital," said Rwexana.

The suspects fled in a white Toyota Avanza vehicle and a white Volkswagen Golf. Police and farm-watch members were alerted and they arrested two suspects, aged 33 and 35, said Rwexana.
