Farm Attacks

"They forced my father to repeat 'I love black people'," daughter Monique Lange, 34, was quoted as saying."

So definitely farm murders are not racially motivated........................

They're obviously sadistic. Given time, they'd do anything to victims. I had an opportunity to speak to an ex GP thug back in November about his past life.

But when its white on black its racism and not also sadistic?

Criminals are mostly sadistic in nature (could have something to do with drugs they take before committing the deed). How many black people have been raped in the past? How many are being raped on a daily basis? How many have been killed?

It's only genocide when a white person is the victim.

It's only genocide when a white person is the victim.

Well, if a white person having an argument with a person who is coincidentally black is racist, then a black person killing a white person can be genocide, can't it?

Someone in the neighbourhoods security whatsapp reported a beggar* shouting at them (2 women in car, who were leaving their house), I went and saw it was a guy that had previously done the same with someone other residents. When I told him that people reported him shouting at them and he should rather not do it, he started shouting at me and accusing me of perpetuating apartheid (I hadn't even said anything to him about leaving the area, only that he should stop shouting at people).

*he makes things out of slate rock and does other things

Genuinely confused. That is BLF level hypothesis. How do you rationalise that?

Tell that to everyone making a race thing about the beach thing and the Spur argument and whatever... oh yeah, and to Kenneth who accused me of perpetuating Apartheid by asking him not to angrily shout at people.

That would be Maxwele and BLF; custodians of fringe politics. Are you sure you want to use those as basis for your argument?

As long as they can keep getting so much publicity from the media houses, the other side can too using whatever means.

Are you on "the other side"?
...You're changing, you're changing, you're changing all right.
I hope you're satisfied
But if you ain't, don't blame me,
You can blame my friends on the other side...

Family tortured during Mpumalanga farm attack
Intruders entered the Bakker farm on Saturday evening while Matt and his father Peter were cooking a meal downstairs. “We live upstairs and our door was locked. My dad had left the kitchen door unlocked,” Matt told Lowvelder.

The men entered through the kitchen door, grabbed Peter and started strangling him. They tied his hands behind his back with masking tape. “The men asked my father if there was anyone else in the house. My father told them that his son and his family were upstairs. The men then dragged him upstairs.

Matt, his wife, and his three children were playing cards in the lounge upstairs. The men barged in and ordered the family to lie down on the ground. They were tied up with masking tape and cloth was stuffed into their mouths and taped over, except for the youngest child

WHEN are these people going to LEARN ?

There are hundreds perhaps thousands of articles on Farm safety and Farm security
Just have a look at Farmers Weekly / Landbou

One can only try and help so far -- THEN -- it is up to the individual

I no longer have ANY sympathy for idiots like this that are caught unprepared / unaware !
( with the firearms "safely" locked in the safe -- waiting to be stolen when the perps "acquire" the keys" )

Next, they took Peter into another room and told the family that they were going to kill him. The men started ransacking the house. “I think they finally started to believe us that we didn’t have these things. They told us they were going to go after their informant, who was someone who used to work for us.”

The suspects then started their long night of intimidation and torture. “They started asking us where our guns and cash were. We have never owned guns. We don’t believe in firearms.

Snowflakes of note
He does not believe in guns -- somehow he thinks a miracle is going to protect his family ....

I rest my case m'Lord

Not everyone can afford the sort of security that is affective against these cretins.

You can't blame the victims of crime, especially since you don't know what security they might actually have had in place.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

Not everyone has a fighting mindset - some are meek by nature.

AfriForum says farm murders decreasing as farmers are fighting back
Pretoria - Minority rights group AfriForum on Tuesday said it had noted a decrease in farm murders as farmers in South Africa improved measures to defend themselves.

“We are having an interesting dynamic because there is a very clear tendency that farmers and the farming community are fighting back. It’s very clear that [through] campaigns that have been run by different organisations, of which AfriForum is a leading one, and the huge effort that has been put in for farmers and workers to safeguard themselves … farmers are fighting back,” Ian Cameron, AfriForum’s head of community safety, said at a media briefing in Pretoria.

“There were a total of 342 farm attacks according to AfriForum in 2017, and in 2018 that increased to 433. Now the interesting thing is that there were 20 less murders which occurred in 2018 compared to 2017. This shows that the attacks or the confrontation, the conflict still takes place but that farmers aren’t just waiting to get murdered in this stance but are rather prepared for that contact to actually happen.”
