Farm Attacks

Why are people not on about White People Lives matter? Horrific stuff what is done to people on farms.

They tried that and the neo "progressives" and media jumped onto it quicker than rabbits in heat with the "This was created by white supremacist" tactic in order to defame the statement and anyone saying it.

Sure it had a predicted outcome but the response was even crazier. I mean just read this garbage and what its intended purpose is: https://www.adl.org/education/references/hate-symbols/white-lives-matter

The ADL's statement is designed to make it out to be as distasteful as possible in order to scare the reader away and disassociate from any critique directed at Black Lives Matter.

Then came all lives matter. And the comedy continued.

More farm attacks due to food insecurity

Durban - While greater policing may protect a few more farms, it will not solve the underlying issue of food security which is contributing to the spike in crimes on farms, says the African Centre for Food Security.
There has been a recent spike in farm attacks across the country.

Professor Steven Worth, the centre’s director and an associate professor for Extension and Rural Resource Management at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, said increased policing would not solve the chronic vulnerability to food insecurity experienced by many. He said despair was a powerful motivator and until that was addressed, no amount of policing would bring about sustainable security for farmers or anyone else. Worth said there was no doubt that the Covid-19 regulations were a contributing factor and while crime could not be condoned, it was important to look at the whole picture.

“The impact of the pandemic has exacerbated an existing sense of frustration particularly on the part of the poor who were food insecure before the lockdown and are more food insecure as a result of the lockdown,” Worth said. He said in addition to criminals taking advantage of the increased vulnerability of farmers brought on by lockdown measures, loss of income motivated the most vulnerable to commit crimes.

"The motive for the killing is unknown at this stage," police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana said.

While the details surrounding the shooting are still emerging, it is believed that Breedt and his partner, John Sinclaire, were out and arrived back at the farm around 22:00, Van Dalen said.

Sinclaire went to open the house, while Breedt parked the car.

"As he (Sinclaire) opened the door, a man stood in the door with a firearm pointed at him. He slammed the door closed," Van Dalen said.

But SAPS Chief Clown Cele is off politicking and protecting someone who was invading land illegally in Cape Town and thought that stripping off his clothes would keep him fro being evicted. His priority to try and make the DA look bad for ANC benefit. Typical uncaring shameless hypocrites.

The crime is becoming more sickening,

Gwala added: "She was certified dead at the scene. Nothing was taken from the house. The matter is receiving immediate attention."

a possible hate crime? Livestock? I know there is a big push against rural crime being declared hate crime(s) pending on the merits.

I see the DA has established a committee, but all this has been done by other organisations in the past. Nothing is going to happen without the ANC's support.
