Farmer armies in the killing fields

The phrase "killing fields" doesn't quite conjure up the rolling hills of the Cradle of Humankind, a Unesco World Heritage site west of Johannesburg.

But beneath the veneer of the tourist buses and Jersey cows are horrifying murder and robbery statistics, which received yet another boost this week.

The area bore witness to its 96th farm attack this year when Belgian national Mattias Noack, 58, who survived another attack on his life last November, was murdered by five attackers at his Lindley, Muldersdrift, home on Thursday night.

Part of the Agenda. All farms not used will be taken away and be devided or given to the diasadvantaged! Does that not ring a bell? So it is in GVT interest to claim abandoned farms for free!

The funny thing is that, should he shoot one of them he will be accused of murder and the state will turn against him for killing an innocent person. This country is a joke to say the least. What people in this country does not understand is that this is what is expected of these killers. The more farmers they kill the less trouble the goverment will have on their land claims program, why pay for a farm if you can simply force people of their properties.
Apparently the norm I hear the other day on the radio is that they kill farmers because farmers have weapons, the weapons then will get used later in heists. So I ask why kill a farmer? Why dont they just break in when the farmer is not there and steal the weapons?
