I still use win xp. Some files did not want to copy, and an it guy gave me terracopy. Problem is, it copy very slow. Is there another copy software that I can try.

I think the anti virus program caused the copy issue.

You not going to get faster with different copy programs, you better off solving the issue causing the slow speeds.
Teracopy is better then windows default copy app (IMO) in that it queues up files when you copying multiple files to multiple or same destination while windows will open up a new window per copy.

isie is correct. You first need to solve the problems that are hampering the copy speeds such as faulty network cables, bad joints, conflicts, old and slow hubs and nics, slow hard disks, etc.

Teracopy is nice...I've experience crashes though when queing up a bunch of stuff.

If something copies slow, then check your disk for bad sectors. Bad sectors will cause the disk to re-read the same block multiple times in order to get a consistent read. When you have confirmed that disk is fine, then check the other issues as suggested above.

I prefer FastCopy because it copy fast, works on win7 ect.

That said, as other mentioned, there may be an actual underlying problem for your slow copying, which you need to sort out first.

What are you copying, what are you copying it to and what speeds are you getting?
