Okay,

So fastcomm was supposed to launch on 1 april. Their shops will only be ready next monday, according to the retard that can't spell "hop".

Shall we place bets that their site will not be ready tomorrow?

Utter morons.

I'm afraid that I have dealt with more helpful and intelligent chimpanzees. The worst part is they hide behind the excuse of "OH WELL WE'RE WHERE VODACOM WAS 10 YEARS AGO SO IT'S OK" which is rubbish.

ProASM, I'm sorry to be a pain but could you maybe tell me - will it be possible to buy unbundled modems without also having to purchase a contract?

Will do so, we will also be releaing more info as we get it on the towers etc, will be chatting to ProAsm a lot more about the antenna's and other issues.

What a load of BS, If nowire / Fastcomm were at the mercy of sentech, they would have their shops ready, and at least selling utilities by now, I went to see their progress on the shop at village walk, its not nearly fitted yet, actually, its not even a shop, its a boarded off room with a couple wooden boards on the floor and an a4 page on the entrance saying : Watch out for the launch on the 1st of APRIL. thats today.
so maybe they'll launch on monday, not even if they had a team there 24 hours a day will that happen, and if it does, I doubt they'll have trained staff on site, or stock!!
 
To be fair, where would they be geeting there stock from and if they could get stock, but could not give you a username and password would you buy anything ?

As I said, they are pathetic. Absolutely useless. I'm glad I ordered through sentech and not them - imagine if you ever had to get tech support?

There are many levels of partners all the way through from referral partners to full VAPs and more. I do not believe that any one person can speak on behalf of all of them. It may be acceptable to make an example of your own situation; however generalising would result in an inaccurate statement.
 
I must correct that statement, DW is correct , the VAP, Resellers might offer their own support desks, etc, however my current understanding is that the Sentech Support Desk will offer 1st level support.
