Hi just a quickie....
I am serving internet pages to clients via my ADSL modem (using Balidns and Dydns.org)
the system works fine and clients get shoved to the correct ip every time.
My question. I am currently using the RASPPOE software to connect to the internet, I do this because at the time it was easier to do than follow Marconi's instructions on how to let outside pc's connect to my IP (dynamic).
I want better speed for the clients. WHICH IS FASTER: My current RASPPOE system?
OR
If I configured the modem with the PAT forwarding.
I assume the 2nd is, because the other (RAS) is a software system and reduces the size of ip packets.
thanks
Andrew
