Fasterfox 2.0.0

As I understand it, it preloads the links on the page you're visiting, so that when you click on the next link, it will load faster.

Another plugin that I recommend is DocumentMap. It will create a index in a sidebar with all the h1, h2, etc heading in a page. Helps with reading big single page manuals.

Well its main function is just to tweak the network settings on Firefox to make it faster.

That pre-caching was an extra feature that they built in, and it has been taken off by default because it can cause problems, and it is a very bad idea with our bandwidth prices in SA.

Thanks a lot for the link though, I was waiting for this to become compatible with FF 2.0

so once you use it, please give your views on this.

also i would like to this at work as well, but i surely don't want to get in trouble for using excessive bandwidth

Like Ekhaatvensters said, prefetching is disabled by default so ur not going to get into trouble for downloading pages u might not view. What you might get into trouble for is increasing the load on the proxy as you open many more simultaneous connections. But if this is ok, use it as it makes a big difference. There is an option to disable this tho, its called 'Courteous'. Im not sure if you'll really notice any difference with this setting
