Fastest ADSL I have ever experienced

This is purely based on http downloads and browsing, but for the last 20 minutes my 512 ADSL has been flying, and I mean FLYING. It's awesome.

Whatever teslcum or the telscum rep is doing, it's working, finally, if it lasts for 20 minutes more I'd be happy, but I can't complain today ;) :D :p

Edit: Gamco speed test results:

436.50kbps

which means you can download at 54.56 KB/sec. from our servers.

That number does not justify the speed, if I click a link it opens instantly :D :p ;) YAY!!!

I'm getting my 384K line this week on do1 so hopefully I'll experience something other than dialup speeds at home for once.

I had an old saying bro, dialup is faster with browsing than ADSL. I swear 56K has opened sites faster than my 512 line (which I've had for 2 years).

Today is cool, it's really responsive.

Well I need it more for the "always-on" feature and receiving calls while on the net rather than the speed, but I seriously wouldn't be happy if sites didn't open up faster than dialup. Man I wish Telkom could offer a 1Mb line at the price of 384K :(.
 
its alot slower on dial up :) dont worry.
 
yay, just what I needed to hear. :) Although I still consider 1Mbps to be proper broadband...well at least that's how the rest of the galaxy sees it.
 
Even when i went with the 192 option a while back it was a massive increase over 56k. Now that i have 4mb its fantastic.
 
Being able to download at 400kb/s is something i always dreamed of. Ill gladly smile and pay for something ive wanted/waited my whole life. ;)
 
i just love not dialing out anymore for me
"open firefox=Online" its great and opened a whole lot of other doors too
 
I would die if I didnt have my 4Mbit line anymore.
