On 31 Aug the trouble started - connectivity to Eastern US kept timing out. Technical support suggested resetting some parameters - How could this be as all had worked fine up to now? You must keep 'phoning until someone happens to tell you the truth for eventually the connection became so bad that it transpired that the line through ROSEBANK was faulty and being repaired. Connection during this time was not operable - no e-mails or warning - for those doing forex a huge hazard. I had meanwhile left a request on the telkom site by e-mail. A receive a reply saying that the server prioritises e-mail and that by buying certain software i can change this - but now I have found the true cause so I reply that I am being fed wrong information and asked to buy an irrelevant product. The reply : the e-mail was deleted without being read. So I sent off a query as to why as this is - unforgiveable. I receive a reply : e-mail deleted without being read!! A monopoly an afford this behaviour anyone else will go out of business.
