Hi guys, is there any way for me to diagnose whether my modem is on its way out or if the exchange/physical copper has gone bad?

I've started experiencing very frequent disconnects with lower than normal speeds, usual sync speed is 5120/520, current sync is 4608/252.

Current SNR is 8db down and 6db up with line attenuation for both sitting at around 43db.

Previous SNR for both up and down was hovering around 20db.

Thanks, so no way to really tell?

I don't want to log a fault and get charged due to a faulty modem.

Never had them bill a client for an unnecessary call out if the modem does prove to be faulty and they haven't already suggested swapping it out.
