Im sure this thread has been done but I wan't to know, what is you favourite class and race, and why? what classes do you beat and what classes own you?

I love druid, I think he is a very good all rounder class.
Pallys and Shaman are classes I fear.

My main is shaman, and I love every second of it (but scared of facing ally shamans in TBC :p) mages and rogues prey of choice, but warriors and warlocks get me spamming the mount button

mage is also a fun class, check out the Vurtne pvp movies if u have time and cap to spare. the guys got amazing reflexes

Played Druid (Night Elf) and Paladin (Human), but my latest Char is Night Elf Hunter, and I'm really enjoying it.

Orc shammy(60) Ive enjoyed it but it just seems shammies are being left by the wayside as far as class development and issues go...they buffed locks and rogues since yesterdays patch...wtf? we get a threat swap with ES and FS?
so my new favorite will be a BE pally...If u cant beat em join em:cool:

BTW: never had any problem with any class until 'before the storm patch' now I struggle to kill pallies, locks and hunters(working on it)...mages and priests are still cake though:cool:

I have a Human Paladin (60) and a NE hunter (60). Gone prot with the pala with the new tbc abilities and its great :D

Undead Warlock... holy priests annoy me, as well as well-geared CLoS rogues (especially if death coil's on CD).

Does anyone else get this?

When I vs hunter on my screen he is right next to me, but the bastard is still shooting at me, must be a latency issue, so hunters own me, always.

Because of lag, you send delayed packets to the wow server so when you just pressed "w" and have begun moving on your screen, you are still standing still on his, and only a second or so later will you appear to move on his screen.

and because of lag you are also receiving delayed packets from the server, so while it may look like hes close to you, he really is a bit further away, because you are seeing everything a second or more in the past.

and since, when running, a wow character will cover about 5 yards per sec: your lag in sending and receiving actually means he is 10 more yards further away from you then he seems on your screen. thats also why warriors will seem to charge you from a mile away

gotta love telkom :p

I suppose with a name like "thelagginshaman" you probably know your stuff. so what latency would I need to not get that at all?

the game is playable with anything lower than 600ms...I constantly float around that area and Im a hardcore pvp/raider...its really only the occasional lag spikes or my housemates fiddling on the internet that makes my lagging unbearable:mad: BTW: im on US servers...not sure about EU:confused:

Also liking my paladin much, nothing like BoP'ing a warlock/mage when 2 warriors/rogues come attack and then when they turn to attack me pop a bubble and watch how the caster nukes them into the ground. Sometimes I actually need to drop a few FoL's =0

wtfbbq owned kthxbi gg

Generally im not a fighting Pala, I prefer to keep the front lines healthy, but every now and then when there is no cannon fodder (retridins/warriors) around I'll climb in and attempt to stall or distract the offender :)

Love my Shadow Priest.

I find that lately I am having a harder time in PvP since the release of v2

When soloing in PvE I find that I have virtually no downtime if I take on a mob my lvl or lower. I can handle 3 mobs my lvl quite comfortably.

3 mobs, thats pretty tight, as a druid I suffer with 2 my level, but at higher levels maybe it gets better.

When I played hunter 3 mobs my level would be pretty easy.

hunters are rediculous in pve!

when I was lvlling my twink I only did quests that were red for me...at 19 I can kill a lvl 26 MOB without taking any damage and my pet only taking 50%...compared to lvling my shaman its piss:D

I always start a warrior. get miffed cause i suck at pvp or a hunters pet pulls aggro off me, blame blizzard for nerfing warriors every 2 weeks, roll a warlock, mage or hunter. Then go back to the warrior. So I suppose that makes the warrior my favorite class.

I found leveling the warrior with fury spec a lot of fun. Charge into a mob of 3 or 4,shouts, spam whirlwind. Of cource some hit a lot harder than others, then its spam peircing howl and run. Always drop a few and come back for the rest. In pvp, I found shamans a big problem until about lvl 50. Mages and priests have always been a problem. Dont think ive ever beaten a mage or priest 1v1. In the chaoes of battlegrounds i have gotten of an exceute on a few. Hunters are odd. Some are easy, Others are so good, I never get to hit them at all. Rogues are fifty-fifty fight. If I get the drop on a warlock, theres a 60% chance I can kill him/her as long I can interrupt the fear. If they get the drop on me, its over. My health is below 50% before I can even target them. Got no defense against magic spells.

Ive always noticed and have witnessed many times how deadly a fury warrior(decently geared) and a priest combo is...they pwn second to none...especially when their opponents dont go straight for the healer:)

Hehe,

After the 3 mobs, I do require a drink as it leaves me OOM.

lol. touchy subject that. Priest healing warriors in BG. Your are right. In fact if you look at Blizzards response to all the complaints from warriors, they generally say that the warrior class is a group class, and that is the way Blizzard intended it to be. If a warrior is healed, it is the most powerfull class in the game. Of course it means that 1 on 1 on a pvp server, the warrior is generally toast.

Fortunatly for the opposing faction's mages, hunters and warlocks, the warrior is seldom healed in battlegrounds. I had an alt priest, which was shadowspeced. If there was a warrior whose level was either in the high end for that bg or close, I would stick with that warrior and heal, otherwese shadowform. Many times a warrior and I could defend and AB flag against greater numbers. Even if one of us died, we still held the flag. Sure when we got overwhelmed everynow and then.

Sadly most people go into battlegrounds and do their own thing, but when you get a grp who plays as a team, its awesome.
