Favoured class and race

healing is almost as non-existant in bg's as raid buffs are:sick: Or when u ask for a heal and the priest screams at you "Im shadow L2bandage!":(

hunters are rediculous in pve!

when I was lvlling my twink I only did quests that were red for me...at 19 I can kill a lvl 26 MOB without taking any damage and my pet only taking 50%...compared to lvling my shaman its piss:D

So true, my first char is a Druid, and now I'm playing with a hunter, questing is really easy, and you can do most of the quests on your own, you don't need to try get a group together.

Last night my lvl 17 gnome warlock alt solo'd lvl 18 and lvl 19 elite ogre's in Thelsemar. The lvl 20 elites where a problem. resists cost mana. Had to sacrifice the voidwalker and chain fear for the last 200 or so health bit of the fights.

Was later joined by 2 more warlocks, lvl 18, and lvl 22. I had imp out for fire shield, stamina buff and dps, the lvl 22 had succubuss out for dps, other lock had voidwalker tanking. Easily taking out 2 a time. Keep 1 on fear. Everyone now and then the feared one would bring a friend. No problem, tag it and keep it feared as well. lvl 20 Dwarf pally and lvl 26 dwarf warrior just looked on in amazement. Too gobsmacked to even ask to join the group.

Totally imbalanced.

So which class do you reckon would be best and fastest for levelling solo?

I would guess Hunter or warlock. Although, I see on WoW- EU forums that the first lvl 70 is a mage. The gold selling companies use hunters, judging from the population in Deadwind Pass and Azshara. I think most would say hunter.

if u read it not only did he use his entire guild he also prepared before hand...I assume he was on the burning crusade test realms...not quite sure if I believe it though:rolleyes: any screen shot can be photochopped...seems a bit far fetched...then again never underestimate hardcore players:p grrr all my guildies are 61 already and Im still waiting for my copy of TBC :(

As a mage 2 Mobs and I am in trouble, I can take them down but it requires quick thinking on my part.

??

How long have you been playing your mage?

Are you fire or frost? Elemental(fire and frost) maybe?

With fire I can drop 1 mob before he reaches me... the 2nd would be close to 50% and a frost nova and another fireballs fireblast combo spanks him. 2-4 mobs at once isnt a problem.

With frost this just gets way way easier. With a water elemental giving you 2 frost nova's and some extra dps... It's scary.

I prefer fire tho.... making things go boom is fun.

Mage is my favorite class. When someone gets the drop on you.... and you still smack their heads in before taking more dmg... it's just awesome. Rogue Backstab you for 2500dmg... frostnova..... sheep.... combustion.... fireball... scorch.... fireblast.... dragonsbreath.... scorch... blastwave. If whatever it might have been still lives after that they deserve to kill you.

Good gear does help a lot tho. Went from 2.8k hp to about 3.9k hp and that alone helped a ton in pvp and even in pve.

Hunter is slacker/ezmode. Been leveling one and it's just too easy... no effort required.

Undead warlock. Classes I own... hmmm, generally everything depending on the situation, particularly casting classes. Most difficult class 1v1, a GOOD rogue. Most difficult classes in heated combat, warrior and rogue. And now after 2.0, hunter getting the drop on me is almost a guaranteed loss since I run with the felhunter, but it goes the other way aswell.
