Favourite PSone JRPG?

i recently got an emulator for my galaxy tab and is revisiting the old legends. started with FF7 and now im waiting for Legend of dragoon to finish down..i mean converting... i loved that game. i really enjoyed the upgraded battle system where you had to time hits. it made it more interesting. i remember in FF9 i just used to run in a circle while mashing x to gain XP. kind of made the game boring for me in the end. but FF9 was still my favourite of all time.

Give valkryie profile a play it's still one of the best games I have ever played I actually picked up a psp about 3 years ago just so I can play it again, otherwise chrono trigger + cross are quite good especially trigger. I found final fantasy to be way too annoying the random battles in the game completely crippled the experience, legend of dragoon was o.k. Also check out parasite eve especially the first one, grandia is quite good but reeaaaaaaalllllly long and easy. Wow this brings back memories the PS1 had soooooooo many great JRPG's

Vagrant story {but the graphics suck}

Legend of Mana {I can imagine this being really fun on a tab}
