They do however have partnerships with GM, Toyota & VW. I would not touch them with a barge pole though.
 
It is a flaw,the only Chinese products i will ever buy are electronics,not cars

The S 80 is a rebadged Toyota previous model Avensis, and God only knows what they cloned for the other piece of scrap.

Apparently some of the body shops are using these chinese copy parts when doing repairs... so I've heard.
Yeah, I'm afraid Toyota is no longer the car since their sellout to the sweatshops.

I think you're confusing innovation with plagiarism - the latter is way easier.
 
I remember back in the 90's people used to knock Hyundia for being a knock down kit assembled in Botswana... Look at them now.
 
Does anyone know what design the FAW V2 engine is based on? Dimensions suggest it's Honda(same bore/stroke).
