Hi, How do I use my ADSL conection to also recieve a fax?

PJS

uhm have a fax machine/fax modem.

ADSL = digital portion of line
POTS = phone section/plain old telephone / analogue
Fax = sending data by tones, like a modem on the analogue portion of the line.

Hence there is no way to get faxes thru adsl. Alternatives are:

1) use a filter with your fax machine/fax modem and recieve like normal.
2) use a fax-to-email service, they give you a fax number you must use and then they email the fax in form of a picture etc Telkom as one, i'm sure others do too.

Go to http://www.faxfx.net/f2e.htm and read about Fax to e-mail. It is free for the recipient, but sender pays more than normal.

IF you have a normal old dial-up modem in your computer, look on the CD that came with it for Fax software. I use mine for that and as an answering machine and it works well.

Edit: Don't forget the POTS filter on the line to the modem though

How did you receive a fax before you had adsl? If it was via a fax machine or computer modem just stick a filter on the end of the cord like krycor said.
