I am looking for a Fax to email service for me.

Can anyone recommend any co's. the cheaper the better :D.

I googled a few but they all seem a bit dodgy.

This one is free http://www.faxtoemail.co.za/ but looks like a spam email harvester, maybe I am wrong.

Thanks

OK, I signed up with them and it works :D

Only problem is, is that their website doesn't work in FireFox (the sign in page):eek::mad:

But I will live with that.

Postnet's service is free. I use them and the only email I got from them was for signup details.

They are powered by Foneworx:

Best to go directly through foneworx in my opinon. Their email to fax printer driver works with Vista as well and you can pay a prepaid amount and pay again when that's finished. Think they charge an activation fee for faxing from email though, fax to email is free.

Do they have expiry dates. Or can you go a couple of months without receiving any faxes or your number being used.

Thanks.

Most of these companies have expiry times. Just email them and ask how long it is.

They are free incoming but you pay for outgoing faxing

Lol, well Mr.Technology over here (that's me) didn't even know you could send outgoing from email to fax. I must look into that sometime. :p

Nothing worse than a fax machine!

I know some of the larger companies are using fax-email and email-fax services as this reduces their phone bills - personally I used a free service (for receiving) and it worked quite well, never tried the outbound service though
