Does anyone know when the new FEAR will be released? Does anyone have any details re the gameplay etc? While @ work I can't check these things as most sites are blocked....
 
Didn't even know there is going to be a new FEAR. Do you know the name and then I can check it out for you? :)
 
F.E.A.R. 3 is to include new features such as co-op, an evolved cover system, and more scares, according to Day 1 Studios founder and president Denny Thorley.[3] In the game the player will be able to control both Point Man and Paxton Fettel, the protagonist and antagonist, respectively, from the first game, F.E.A.R.. The controls for the Point Man are the same, with shooting enemies and slowing time. As Fettel, you assist the Point Man by using telekinesis, stun, possession, and other abilities.

Fear 3 has been delayed until next year April I think - ^ beat to it :p

I just cant seem to get going... Think I must go shoot some Taliban - Oops...
 
Yeah this game looks like it can be pretty cool. The last 2 were not bad at all :D

Too many games coming out guys... what to buy? lol
 
Absolutely Token, I am sitting with a huge problem... I am already getting MOH (Maybe - depending on my contact... wink wink nudge nudge...) and COD BO, then there are one or two others I am looking into. By the sounds of it I think I am going to spend in excess of R3K on games by mid 2011.

Yeah dude, seriously. I went into the BT games at Cavendish yesterday and pre-ordered at least 5 games, and that's only because I forgot about Deus Ex and a Crysis 2 :/. My collection is growing quite rapidly and F.3.A.R is definitely going to be in there :D
 
Sigh...

I am sooooo glad I do not have a PS3 to worry about as well. My whole salary would go to games. My GF would leave me and then I would become a hermit! :) F@ckit, I am getting a PS3 the end of this month... :D
 
Well, I don't think I will be getting COD BO, because of the server thing and I am not gonna spend R500 for single player...
MOH I will get.
NFS I have to get.

Buy a game per month... :)

That's spawn raping? Clearly you weren't around in 2002 with the release of BF1942.

That's just Battlefield. You get 2 kinds of people who play it, those who play it for what it is and those who play it and try tell others how to play it.
 
Dude, I seriously do not like Conquest. It is way too easy for one team to get one over the other and take all bases. Once that happens you just camp around their spawn and kill them as they try and fight their way out of a no win situation. I don't care who you are, that is no fun for anyone - except maybe the guys who are on the winning team; but how much fun can shooting fish in a barrel be?

I much prefer Rush or TDM that evens out things nicely even with stacked odds like 7 vs 4 or something, because you can always fight back when you spawn somewhere else and people have to come and look for you. When you know exactly where people are going to come from it is a bit transparent and a little too easy... My opinion anyways. Other than that it is an awesome game.
