Feature phone unlock (Vodacom)

I have a feature phone from 2016 that is my backup option. I bought it Vodacom locked, but now want to use it with Telkom as I got a free SIM a while ago.
The only way to get it unlocked I can find is to call 082135, but there is no option on that series of menus. What should I do?

When I get some time I'll take it to the nearest Vodacom outlet. At least post-pandemic they are far less busy near where I am
