Domestically.

All the members in my family are doing well for themselves, Mom, Dad, bro and sister. All have high paying jobs and overall good jobs and growing fast!! Their social lives have also increased dramatically.

Im feeling left out, im happy for them but how does one cope with such a thing?

Oh ja. I know where you're coming from...."Keeping up with the Jones's" .... Imagine being Mark Shuttleworth's brother!

My view is you need to spend enough time with yourself to be ok with yourself, like youself or love yourself etc. It's not about them. It's about you being OK with you. That's what I think.

You never know what's going on in their heads either. So called successful people often commit suicide. Maybe success is just being happy. Being happy is up to you I reckon.

honestly though i think it all revolves around what you value in your life and while money is often seed as the real life epeen, what you actually need a good bunch of friends to keep you busy. Money will always be around to be made, friends will become harder to find.(which fixes your social life and with being at home less you won't compare yourself to rest of family)

Its like I keep telling my girlfriend, "There's only one person responsible for your life".

relax and make yourself happy... it's about you, you should not plan your happiness around other people... i know what you are talking about, a lot of my friends were buying nice cars and I'm still driving my plain old citi... but I'm happy with it, i find ways to enjoy my money and make sure i'm happy. :D

buy your self a game/cd and relax it's Friday and the weekend is just starting...

you are also doing well, i mean you have two GTIs:D

My wife's family are all very successful business-wise. By comparison we're quite far behind. But that is because of a lot of choices we made when we were younger - and we have some things that are less quantifiable but no less valuable to us. We're just content with what we have.

Driving or owning a VW will always make you feel left out.
Buy a Merc.

Get laid. Seriously, you'll feel so much better/happier and won't even worry about the things you are concerned about ATM.

God? JK.

Buy a Merc.

I don't come cheap.

Thanks for the advice...
I kinda knew it all to be honest...

Todays lecture at Mosque was on the same issue, be content with what you have, I have more than I need to be honest, so I dont "need" more...
Its easy to just say "be content with what you have", but not so easy to be content with what you have.

Well I guess I'm lucky then. I have with one brains and big boobs ;)

So finally you got yourself a woman? No wonder you don't frequent myBB these days.

Yep. He needs to get laid. I'm not too sure if his religion allows him to screw though.
