Looking for a lid with an airlock, preferable not narrow but more something like below. Best option it fits on consol jars.

^^^ this, you can convert any old lid, you just need the airlock, a grommet and a hole

Hit me up, I've done this a few times before. You can use a regular jar and lid with a hole, rubber grommet and airlock. Doesn't have to be a 3-piece airlock like in your pic either.

What do you ferment ?
On the farm here my Uncle ferments the excess foods we get from the nearby restaurants. When you ferment food waste it is best to use 2 fermenters. One fermenter is being filled and processed food waste generated each day while the second one remains sealed so that oxygen is always excluded. When the first fermenter is filled, it is set aside while the second one is then filled. When the second is nearly full, the first one goes to the garden so its contents can be buried. The empty one then is ready to fill when the second container is full and in this way, a continuous cycle is established by moving fermented food waste to your garden.

Will look into this - thanks

I'll probably try the above, while we at this, which sizing tip do I need for the drilling?
