Oi! Leave me out of this...
We will hear nothing about this from the DA. They seem to ignore criticism and hope it goes away.
Looks like you were wrong...

Seriously you need to get over being so enamoured with certain politicians and their parties.
I think you may have the Dee-Ay confuzzled with the Ay-En-See?

Yep, those headlines yesterday must have got the FF+ (and ANC) all excited about making a couple of political points at the DA's expense... Then this. Instances of "maladministration" but no evidence to substantiate allegations of corruption... Nothing to see here FF+, move along.
Now, how 'bout that R100 Million ANC Centenary Party?
But that 100 million will be ANC money, not tax payers. Chancellor House definitely doesn't benefit from government tenders directly![]()
And in other news... recently fired ministers will still earn R840 000 p.a. as "regular" MP's.

Both still earned salaries as ANC MPs of R840 000 a year and also enjoyed privileges such as 48 paid-for inland business class plane tickets a year and 24 plane tickets for their spouses.
I dont have a link for this though. I looked on IOL but dont see anything there. EWN is blocked on my PC so cant check there.
Basically something about corruption and appointing a service provider without proper tender process being followed in 2009. They saying the DA was informed about this but nothing was done.
They interviewed the FF Plus guy on 702 and the public protector is apparently involved or is getting involved. Anyone know more about this?
Id rather see the VF+ fight against the ANC than the ANC-lite at this time.

Read the City Press article and very disturbing how R850000 worth of debt by a contractor to the municipality was written off
This WAS the DA's example of how a borough should be run.A political organisation might have a corrupt official, and you (Not you personally but everyone here is acts dismayed) are shocked by this?
It was bound to happen. Assuming the charges are legit and true, the DA simply has to set an example and act responsibly. Zero-tolerance.
Done. There is no great mystery.
Did you read it? They have laid charges and there is more to uncover.Yep, those headlines yesterday must have got the FF+ (and ANC) all excited about making a couple of political points at the DA's expense...
