Anyone else has firefox opening 2 tabs of teh same link when you click on one with the middle [-]finger[/-] button ? Its driving me insane  Been doing this for a while now but recently its gotten too frequent and is annoying. I know i can right click on the link and click open in new tab but thats slower and sucks

if it is the mouse...........get the "super dragandgo" addon......you click and drag the link and it opens in new tab :)

funny thing is it only has problems with firefox.. then again I only use middle button alot with ff. Guess i should open the mouse and see if there is an issue

Basically the middle button is double clicking without you knowing it. This happened with my left button. Just reduce the double click delay in the mouse settings in windows.

Edit: double click delay settings would probably be for the left button, not the middle one. Probably time for a new mouse.

Tried both extremes, problem persists. also it does not open immediately its like there is a slight delay so 1 tab opens on 1st click i hear and 2nd after release click

bah tried a spare mouse.. it works fine with the other mouse. Guess its time to get me a new one.

I am having a completely opposite problem with firefox. Since I installed firefox2 I cant open tabs with the middle button, when I click a link with the middle button nothing happens. It always worked but since I installed firefox2 it stopped.

i'm gonna miss my mouse.. have to use to new curves of the new one, but i need to find one with a long cable.

uhm DigitalSoldier..
Tools -> Options -> Tabbed Browsing -> Features.. Top Option. [Assuming i don't have an add on that shows it]
