I ordered my Frogfoot fibre line on Friday and it was installed and ready to go on Monday with the Huawei AX3 router delivered as well.. Lightning fast service and super impressed.

My tv is ethernet connected to the router and that works perfectly.

The problem comes when we try to connect another device to the wifi. It asks for an activation code and when we enter that, the tv connection breaks.

We get the bottom messages and as soon as you try to connect a device, it gives the fibre activation page.

I also get a "connected, no internet" message on my pc.

I am expecting that plug and play means add a device, enter the wifi password and Bob's your uncle, you're ready to rumba! But, alas, that's not the case.

Please help.

sounds like your router is in bridge mode and not routing mode

Edit: another possibility is you have the fibre plugged into a lan port on the router and should be in the wan port

its probably more likely its the 2nd thing in my edit, the default config should be routing mode I would imagine

Please make sure the ethernet cable from the ONT is plugged into the router WAN port.

If you plug this cable into a LAN port on the router the router will act as a switch and each device will ask for an IP lease from our DHCP server.

FrogFoot ONT Ethernet port >>>> Huawei WAN port.

Activate the line and then you will be good to go.
