I have been having ADSL issue for a while now at my office and currently have a 4mb line.
40mb is not yet available and I need something with much more throughput. We are only two people in the office but spend a lot of time doing online meetings, VoIP calling etc and the 4mb is not enough.
We were approached last week by a local IT company that is rolling out Fibre on the CyberSmart backbone, the problem is my only option with them is a 2 year contract with a R3500 initiation fee and R4500pm for 10mb 10:1 unshaped uncapped. I am on the verge of going ahead with this but I see Telkom also has plans of rolling out Fibre which will probably have competitive pricing.
Any advise or other options I should be looking at?
