Hey guys,
Got my fibre installed on Tuesday. Everything is going great, it's just that I notice that I'm getting moderate NAT on some games, specifically Rainbow Six Siege.
I've tried the PPPoE method on PS4 but I can't obtain IP address. Originally thought maybe the details Vox gave me where different.
This morning an agent called me to try and assist with the issue, he didn't know much about it but I did tell him that enabling uPnP helps. As it did with when I was gaming on LTE. Unfortanetly it didn't help in this case. Did also ask him to send me the PPPoE details but he sent me the same details that I've tried. eg. [email protected].
I'm at a stump, I can't really log onto the router myself. The tech who installed it says Vox doesn't want people logging on to the router so they do everything remotely.
Also think it would be wise for me to request disabling uPnP since it didn't work.
Any suggestions? The router is a Mikrotik routerboard. I can't really tell you the model. Do you think it's wise for me to log onto the router anyway?
