At that price range most routers will be "crap". You are going to have to pick either speed or range. You can get range but with almost no speed or you can get speed with "crap" range in that price point.
Give us more info. What router do you currently have? What brands are you familiar with? How much time do you have to spend on your network?

WiFi repeaters are pretty cheap these days, might be worth considering a couple of these around your house?

What router do you currently have?
For your price range you will only get maybe slightly better then what you currently have.
Best bet is to get a powerline adapter kit and put it on the other side of the house
Would love to try this but our router's on a different circuit to rooms the wifi doesn't reach.

as in 3 phase or seperate DB board?
works on 3 phase - this i tested
seperate DB as far as i recall hit and miss but 2 guys i know tested it didnt work
