A friend has recently had Telkom Fibre installed. It's supposed to be a 20 MP's line but on checking with Ookla the speeds seem to be similar on upload and download with upload slightly faster. Any ideas we can explore?-

Most Fibre solutions are symmetric.

It's common with fibre to have same up and down speeds. Depending on the ISP.
All Telkoms speeds are Asymmetrical for some unknown reason.
