Fibre's down (Thanks OpenServe) -- what to use as backup?

So my OpenServe WebAfrica fibre went down today for the first time in 9 months. Mostly due to this:

Yes, they were installing at my neighbors and manage to break something on my connection. LOS light on ONT flickering red. Couldn't solve it today, promised they would be back tomorrow with the fault finding team and equipment (we'll see -- highly doubt it).

Bought 1 GB data on my old Telkom SIM in my old LTE router and used it completely within one hour, so I am going to need something more robust.

What do you guys use for backups (if anything)? I'm considering the CellC 100GB prepaid connection or Telkom Mobile 50 GB valid-for-1-year options. Still have my old LTE router.
 
It's a day? They are normally good when fixing stuff they broke some tv or guy another gig and browse Reddit.
 
You're right - They actually fixed it in less than 24 hours.
