I also had endless issues with the initial installation that also took months, and once it was done after wanting to cancel and not able to because their [email protected] didn't respond.

The link was terrible most of the time... And here we are a few months later.. 56 calls logged in the past 11 months for internet connection issues. I have to admit, the internet service has been better the past few months and I could actually use it, but they have changed their policy on payment. Now your payment must reflect in their account on the 1st.

Well the past month the 1st fell on a Sunday, so it only reflected on the 2nd and they suspended my account. R150 to have it unsuspended, even after I sent them proof of payment was done on the 31st (Oh yes, I only get paid on the very last day of the month, unless it falls on a Sunday). So obviously I refused to pay another R150 for the service.

On the 2nd I asked Wes, to cancel my internet access contract with them (yes, it's a month to month contract), eventually someone called me on the 4th to say tell me that they struggle to get hold of the external company that manages their cancelations and that I have to use the email ([email protected]). Once again like almost a year ago, not one response from them to date. I email them on a daily basis.

Current Status: Line is still suspended, even though i paid for this month's internet access. No one is getting back to me regarding the cancellation. I only have a very poor Vodacom 3G signal at home, but I would rather sit with that, not being able to stream my Netflix anymore than having to deal with Fibrestream.

I wouldn't recommend Fibrestream to anyone from past experience. I see they're not part of the ISPA which should've been a giveaway too. My neighbours are with WIRUlink and they have no complaints about them.

I paid Fibrestream for one months internet in advance as well as for an installation on my premises after Wes verbally guaranteed me that there would be line as sight. His technicians on the other hand informed me that they could not establish a line of sight after two attempts. After failing to provide me with any service after a set period as was stipulated in their contract I asked for a refund. Wes then refused stating that his accountants wouldn't allow it. Stay away!

I have in 2018. CGSO concluded the matter after a view months with this reply
Good Day,

"Please note that Supplier is not cooperating with this office. As such we have now sent the matter to the NCC.

Please note further that although we have submitted our report to the NCC, it is still required that you resubmit your complaint stating that the matter has been to the CGSO. "

I then submitted a complaint with the NCC which was they acknowledged receipt of my claim on the 9th of April 2019. Since then they have not responded to any further communication I have submitted to them every month thereafter concern my claim. They are an incompetent organization. I'm waiting on ICASA also before taking the matter to the small claims court.
