Fidelity ADT is starting to charge customers for SecureFire without their consent and giving an option to opt out.

As far as I know you can't go around charging people for stuff they never agreed to and hide behind an opt out option.

Who will be using it? Wonder if one can complain to the debit order people so they get fined R1,000 per debit order?

Over 10 years since buying my house their sign is still hanging outside my house...don't think it's really up to much, honestly...

Illegal, according to the CPA.

The same people who once provided me with "security cover" and then moved their local control room to Cape Town,

When, one night, my alarm was activated they informed me that they couldn't find my house - you won't find it in Durban, mate, even although we share the same suburb name! They were/are clueless!

Sounds like you should have moved to Durban

Just got hit with the R35 "service fee" for a service I never signed up for nor authorised the amount to be deducted. Times that with a few thousand accounts and watch the money roll in. Would be nice to see a Mybroadband exposé on it.

The company is going bankrupt. Exploring ways to make additional income before is goes belly up.
