Fiesta ST the ride

The Fiesta ST 1600 ecoboost is an enthusiasts car the suspension is hard and the Ricaro seats are not very comfortable that being said that is the only drawback of the car .
• The car has a 1.6L EcoBoost with turbocharger engine, 134kW @ 5700rpm.
• Maximum torque: 240 @ 1600 - 5000 with 290Nm Time Limited Overboost .
The car has everything keyless start , 17” mages , ABS ,EBD, ESP, EBA, and for those that can’t pull off on a hill ,Hill launch assist ETC ..
I looked in the boot for the kitchen sink but it was not there .
Fuel consumption is listed as 5.9 litres/100km with CO2 emissiions of 138g/km if you take it easy .
The car drives like a dream , round corners it feels like it is on rails and steering the car is very direct , there is plenty of power and the turbo comes in very early , I have not noticed any turbo lag and don’t hear any noise from a waste gate. The six speed gearbox is quick and sixth gear is like an overdrive. The ESP program has three settings, with the system being on by default. The driver can select sport mode or switch it off entirely.It has torque vectoring a sort of limited slip diff so it is not easy to throw it away .
Over all the car is a real pleasure to drive and at R254 500 it is a bargain and comes with a 4 year service plan , 4 year comprehensive warranty etc.
This is certainly one hot hatch .

It is standing at an angle and if you shop around you can get a discount , they were selling them the other day at R254900 .

And it is. Ford planned for 5000 units worldwide in the 1st year, after 3 months 50% was sold, they had to increase production to keep up with demand.

Great little motor in that car. Not a fan of the cheap looking rims. It does look like it should belong to a female though. But for that price, it's a steal.
