Thought I'd post this here as we all like our footy. So who's amped?

From the videos and gameplay footage I've seen, it looks really good. Demo is out tomorrow so will definitely be downloading that.

My main disappointment is that PC users always miss out (less skills, animations etc) so I'm hoping PC users get what xbox360 and PS3 users get. Release date is the 2nd of October.

Can't wait, Fifa has been my fav through the times, I get it every year and play as manager.

Love it, hopefully we get the new engine for PC, although I doubt it...
 
Pro Evo is better. It has always been better than FIFA.

Better game play. Always hated FIFA although FIFA 09 stepped up.

Yes, i am EXTREMELY amped for Pro Evo 09.
 
It looks awesome. They've fixed a lot of my pet peeves esp in manager mode.

I love pes but i got sick of changing team and player names. Man red. Wtf?
 
The excuse that PES doesn't have licenses is old now... from the time the demo is released to the official release date... (it should be around 2 weeks this time around) there are so many option files that change the names for you that you really don't even have to bother (with names that is...). One month after release and you will have patches that give you extra stadia, proper kits and multitudes of other goodies that you begin to wonder why you ever made a fuss. :erm: lemme show you....

PES has all the teams licensed. Well all the main teams. It still doesnt have Kaizer Chiefs - but who cares about Chiefs.

Fact is Pro Evo gameplay is still better than the laggy draggy Fifa.
 
If we are talking pc version here we got screwed again by EA. I usually by both pro evo and fifa but I have had. Till EA Sports(I differentiate between the games and sports division since peter moore's doesn't and frank gibeau cares about pc gamer) decides to give a dam about pc users I am boycotting EA sports.

PRO evo 2010 demo is out tomorrow. They are giving both console and pc gamers the same game so I will continue to support Konami. The licensing isn't an issue for me since serie a is fully licensed in pro evo. Man utd is as well for those interested.
 
I would LOVE to have a Pro Evo LAN with the forum peeps.

Would need to remind you to pack your lunches in your lunch boxes, cos i will be taking you to SCHOOL :D

I use to play pes on ps2 so no option files. Since i got my xbox i've only played fifa. Even so Why should i pay extra for option files when all teams and players should be licensed.

Btw, in pes10 only man utd and pool are licensed from epl. That's crap.
 
It looks nice, but I'd rather wait for the FIFA 2010 World Cup game. I wanna have all the SA stadiums in my game! :)

I dont care about the licenses.

All i care is which game gives the more realistic feel and that the winner just has to be Pro evo.
 
Not to mention pc users get what console users get.

My biggest irk with FIFA is that FIFA on console and FIFA on PC are 2 completely different games. Console get all the cool features and graphic and PC users get the left overs :(
 
My biggest irk with Fifa is that it just doesn't feel right... If I managed to beat a staunch Fifa player 3-1 (I had Malmo and he had Juve) then the game is really broken. Oh yeah - I beat him with Chelsea (vs Man United) and with Juve (vs Inter)... Point is... it was only the second time I had played Fifa 09 (and hadn't played 08 in around 8/9 months before that).
