Yo fellow FIFA maniacs,

I'm an avid FIFA 12 player. I play on manual control settings. When I play online I suspect that most of my opponents are playing on assisted or semi-assisted control settings. Not cool.

I would like to know if there are any manual players out there and if so, are you guys keen to start a manual room on Xbox Live? Playing on manual settings is far more skillful and rewarding. Just trying to see if there is an interest for this and if so, let's do something about it! :)

Sweet.

Manual is so hard! I'm not a serious FIFA player by any means, but I find semi-assisted to be hard enough! :<
I get how it would be rewarding; goals are way cooler with the skill required in semi as compared to assisted - I imagine the effect is doubly so in full manual... But too much skill required for my modest level, 'fraid I won't be joining you! (And I fear I am speaking for many FIFA 12 players)

Point taken SoopaFly.

My cousin and I are Pro Evo converts (since FIFA 10) and only switched to manual with the release of 12. We had been playing semi-manual on FIFA 11, but kept through balls assisted. The day I got FIFA 12 I lost every game and had to play on Semi-Pro, whereas I had been playing on World Class and Legendary on FIFA 11. It's been one month and quite a bit of practicing, but I'm so happy I made the switch. The goals, skill and game-play required are just on another level and make the game so much more enjoyable.

My flatmate (who hadn't played much FIFA before FIFA 12) is playing on manual too and loving it. He's pretty damn good now and gives my cousin and I a run for our money. I think it proves a point that players become far too comfortable in the assisted/semi-assisted world. Power and precision need to be carefully considered when playing on manual and if you love football - like I do - it makes the gaming experience so much more authentic!
