Fifa 13 Jittery on xbox

Hi
I got a replacement(warranty) console and fifa plays very jittery.
Disc is slightly scratched so I installed the game to a flash drive but the problem persists.
Any ideas? Are replacement machines refurbished or new? Could there be a problem with the graphics card?

They refurbished. I had a replacement console after mine gave in, but never had issues with any of my games. Do your other games do the same? Or an isolated FIFA 13 issue?
 
Only have fifa at the moment. Sold my old console and games.
Can I rule out disc, game is installed to flash drive?
 
I heard the PC version also has the same problem.

Could be that, I tend to read that previous FIFA games would hang or have terrible FPS issues, myself I have never experienced it and I'm on my 14th FIFA game. @Fred1 could potentially be something wrong within the game files itself. Have access to any other games or another copy of FIFA 13 to test? Don't want to blame the console just yet
 
The disc works fine on my friends console. Last night it worked fine for about 15 mins and then went jittery.
 
Fifa 13 on PS3 is also very slow and a bit jittery on menu screens and so forth, but not when playing.
 
on PS3, fifa 13 has moments when it gets jittery and comes right after a couple of seconds not sure what the problem is either :confused:

If that's the case, might most likely be the console. Again as stated they refurbished so could be carrying a prior issue that didn't get ironed out proper. Any hardware guys to back this up abit? what could be the most likely cause?!
 
fifa 13 had some weird bugs but they did a bug update that fixed most of them - not having jitter problems my side, game play is just fine, did play an entire match without a ball though, that was hilarious.
 
Did the update fix this for anyone? I have had this problem occasionally (maybe 3 times in the hundreds of games we have played). It is not such a big issue as it sounds it is to you, just occasionally now and then when playing a game, mid game we will have a split second freeze here and there but then everything goes back to normal. Not sure if this is the same problem you are having? Just thought I'd share my 2 cents.
 
Mine was overheating. Not enough ventilation. Also have the odd blur like you now.
