FIFA 20 how good or bad is it

I normally used to pre order FIFA for FUT but after 19 my online play was horrific and now i heard they having the same delay issues with 20.
Yep I got fifa 20 and I had to check I was not playing fifa 19 fut.

I got FIFA 20 now, last fifa i played was fifa 16. So far I'm enjoying it. I'm playing career mode and I'll admit there are some annoying issues.

FUT is just more of the same from 19, no real difference. The only noticeable change that I've seen is in the tackling which is better now, and it showing you where your penalties/FK's will go (and with the option of adding some curves to shots).

How long after release do these games move from Trial to the Vault? Noticed Anthem only moved over a couple of weeks ago.

It released on Vault probably 3 weeks ago...even before the official release.

I've only played a few hours of FIFA 20, but so far it's been one of the worst iterations in years. They might as well just call it FIFA 20 Ultimate Team, and give up any pretence that the other modes matter. Career mode is exactly the same, with the only difference being the player chats/conference talks, but this is repetitive and makes little difference. There's otherwise absolutely no improvements.

The gameplay is also just as lacklustre. The AI seems to have gotten worse, with teams often booting the ball from inside their own half all the way to my goal keeper or over the goal line for a goal kick, without any possibility of their own players getting to it. It happened over and over again. They also still make such stupid decisions in attack, like when they're on a break they try pass the ball to someone in a much worse position than the player in possession. The commentary is exactly the same, and even after a number of games I don't think I've come across any new commentary that wasn't already there a few years ago. Also, I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but it seems like they haven't even included the new rules, such as passing out from the goalkeeper to other defenders inside the penalty box, or being able to pass from kick-off to another player inside the circle.

If you mainly play it for the career mode like myself, and already have either FIFA 18 or FIFA 19, you're better off giving it a skip, or waiting until it's dead cheap. PES looks to have really upped their game, and I think I need to stop being a FIFA fanboy and go for a game where the developer at least tries to offer something better every year.

This is what i was hesitant on. Best to wait i guess and maybe until the first major update. PES20 is getting some great review. Thinking of giving this a go at my wallet.

Dude, just stop selecting Man Utd as the opposition team, what were you thinking....

This coming from a united fan.

PES looks like it's really upped it's game. The only reason I keep going with FIFA is their licensing and I battle a bit with the PES controller setup. But I think I'm doing myself a disservice by not giving PES a proper go now.
