Has anyone heard if their application process was successful for the 1st phase of the 2010 tickets?

Nothing yet mate.

Mail said you would hear something 3-5 days after the draw (15th April). I think the earliest you will hear anything is Wednesday this week, but i am not holding my breath.
 
The site said to expect to receive notificationb between the 16th and the end of the month, so there may be a bit of an impatient wait.

Haven't heard anything yet. On the fifa site where I applied it says 3 days but its no 4 days and counting.
 
Got an sms today saying they have deducted a certain amount from my card. It seems I got tickets for 4 group games. At least that's what the amount suggest. Didn't get all the tickets I wanted so will have to apply for the second phase as well.
 
yup i got an sms for a deduction frommy card, and i heard a few other guys got sms's too
 
Just checked on internet banking and I've got some uncleared amounts outstanding on my CC from FIFA. Not sure which game/s yet though.
 
I just checked on the FIFA website, and it seems I managed 1 group game only which has disappointed me. I'm going to have to go for the second phase.
 
I've checked on the FIFA website, I've got 6/7 tickets for the matches in Durban (not the semis)... don't have enough money in my account to pay though.

Has anyone received the confirmation email?
 
If you haven't received an e-mail, sms or billing notification, you can check on the fifa website. Sign in to your account at fifa.com, then at the top left click on World Cup -> ticketing -> View your application.

quite p1ssed off, applied for a group game, SF and QF in Cape Town and only got the cheapo group game.
 
Just checked the web-site, I seem to have 2 x Group games (3 tickets each) and a R16 game - also 3 tickets. No QF or SF :(

No notifications yet, but my CC show's an outstanding authorisation amount though.

I got 4 group games. Didn't get for the round of 16 at loftus nor the wc final. At least there's more phases to go and the next one is first come first serve.
 
So I sent the ticketing centre an email, asking about the conflicting statements re: when payment will be taken, and when the confirmation mail will be coming around...

Reply was shockingly quick (30 mins), but unhelpful for my particular problem.

Please also note that notification was sent through from Tuesday and on going throughout the rest of the week for all fully, partially successful and unsuccessful applicants so please keep checking your email for an update as well as your online application

*shrugs*

Guess I'll have to borrow some money, just-in-case.
 
Just got my confirmation email. Got all my requested group matches but not my SF requested tickets.
When are the groups/team names going to be drawn? I'd love to know who I'll be watching live :)

December is the final draw as far as I know. Still plenty of qualifying games to go till then.
 
I got an email to confirm that what I ordered I got. 1 group game and a QF. At first I thought it was a scam email, but maybe its not. :D
 
I applied through FNB and I've still not receive any notification and I cannot withdraw any money from the FNB FIFA card, because it says the application is still in progress. This is a f&*( up, the second phase is starting on Monday and I don't know if I've got any tickets.

On FNB's website they have a number to contact and on the website it says that their friendly staff will assist you with any queries, I phone the FNB number and they say they cannot help me and they say I must go into the branch. So I go to the branch and guess what, they cannot help me. I've emailed '[email protected]', but I'm still waiting for a response.

This is a royal f^&* up. How long must one still wait for a response from FIFA, if one doesn't get a response, who can one contact?
