Does any one know of a streaming service to watch the world cup on as I am not a dstv subscriber.
I have a WD Play (but I am fairly certain I wont get it on any of it's apps).
best i can think of is to find a website with streaming coverage, run it from my phone and use a UPNP app to stream it onto the WD play

I read that BBC and ITV will be covering it in the UK.

Hey,

You can try NTV.mx, it is a paid TV service but offers direct streaming to some devices.

Alternatively you could use www.wiziwig.tv which is a free service, giving you links to all the sites offering streams.

All games will still be shown live on SABC TV, if you okay with listening to commentary in all 11 official languages at the same time. Otherwise put the tv on mute and put the radio on the SABC's English sports fm channel

That will never be in sync ... you will hear a goal before you see it

I was hoping that SABC use the official broadcast commentary...

If you have Roku with UK account, BBC Sport has been added to channel store. Live games will be available for streaming. Guess we will have to wait and see what live coverage will be offered.

Just to get a feel from you guys, do you prefer watching something, be it a movie or a sport, on a computer screen using an internet connection or on a tv receiving a more ' traditional' broadcast signal?
