FIFA07 PS2 - beginner needs help

Hi all

Just got this game on sale at Musica. R250 less than FIFA08.

I have never played any FIFA games before, but have observed others playing FIFA 2004 and FIFA 2005 on the PC as a single player vs the computer.

Can someone describe how to get into the single player mode? without online functions as well.

All I've done so far is create a profile and then get into the play mode that requires two players to select teams and play against one another.

I've browsed through all the menu screens but am not able to select single player mode? What am I missing?

Can anyone help?

Are you talking manager/season mode? Look for an option along those lines.

You can play against the CPU in friendlies so long to get the hang of it.

Unfortunately I don't have my PS2 anymore, sold it to buy a LCD monitor. What the manual say? There should be a guide in there ...
