Any safe way to transfer files between my PC and Samsung phone using WiFi?
I can use a USB cable, but I have reliable Wi-Fi.
TIA!

Upload it to cloud storage from phone, download it at your pc. Works the easiest for me.

So with Airdroid can I choose my file on the computer and say "send to" my phone?

yup.

Too of from.

Open airdroid on phone, press airdroid web and find the ip address under option 2. enter it into a browser.

TrebleShot is also an open source alternative:
Website here:

EDIT: Became deprecated.

A way better alternative is KDE Connect, you can then check phone battery level, notifications etc., similar to MS Phone app, but can also use phone to shut down PC or act as a trackpad, etc.:

Download page:

Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.kde.kdeconnect_tp
Windows: MS Store: https://www.microsoft.com/store/apps/9N93MRMSXBF0 or offline: https://download.kde.org/unstable/kdeconnect/win64-pre-20.08/

File Manager +
Works well for me on home WiFi between all my PCs /laptop / Android devices.

Edit: I always use my phone to transfer the files between devices, not the PC/laptop

Do I need to download File Manager + on all devices?
Sorry, but I am old and must be spoon-fed!!!
I have it on all the Android devices, but only really use my main phone to transfer to and from PC.
I've never really needed to (or tried to) transfer between Android devices though

Airdroid is awesome! Just drag file from the pc and drop to phone.

Does airdroid not have a transfer limit before you have to get premium?

I used to love it & used it for years, uninstalled for that reason.
