Hey

I Have this problem that when I go into my second hard drive.. all the files are there, but there is no text showing under the file.. I'm using XP... and the file has been like that for a few weeks now... And it's not nice not knowing what you're clicking and having to guess which on is the correct file...

I don't know what I pressed, but I would like to know how to fix it.. or is it something that is once off... Like once done, it cannot be undone..

Thanks

Fonts, Virus, damage. Best is to do a "Repair" with disk tools if I remember correctly.

I did do a virus scan, nothing came up... front, asked about how to change it.. damaged.. mm.. I don't know because I can still copy and cut the info off and into or out of the folders and things without any errors..
Could it be like s short cut key that is pressed?

i presume you're saying the label below the icon in windows explorer is not showing?
try changing the view to list/details and see if that helps.
alternatively, try changing the size of the icons by clicking CTRL + MOUSEWHEEL.
to change the font, right click your desktop, select 'properties'... somewhere in there.

Yes, the text below isn't showing..

Changing the list doesn't help at all, it's the same.. thumb nail or detail, list everything..

Control + mouse wheel doesn't work either.. (I think that is only on internet explorer...
