Filter problem?

I just want to know. For a week now every time I receive a call on the telkom line my router restarts. Is it the filter that is faulty or the router? Ive never really seen something like this.

I thin desyncs. the power led is on constant but my LAN is unplugged then plugged again. So its like it restarted completely.

My guess would be it's your POTS filter.

Replace the filter and see what happens...
It sounds odd though cause it doesnt just sound like your line is dropping but your router is also losing the connection to your PC which wasnt the case with me. What router you using?

A meccer router I got from cybersmart. Won't be a surprise if its the router cause its the third router they sent me in a month!
