hey,

was just wondering, i know that every phone in the house has to be filtered, but what about the line from the wall to my adsl router? should that be filtered to? or am i right by letting it go straight from the wall socket to my router without a filter?

You definitely dont want to filter the ADSL signal out of the line going to your router :D

Dont forget to filter your alarm/fax machines if you have them and if they share the same line. :)

Take note of the alarm part!! If your alarm works via a phone line it must be filtered!!

yeah every other connection in the house besides the one to my router is filtered.. bleh :) obviously thats not the problem then.. lol i just had the filters checked 2 days ago, and they were fine :/

The filter stops the phone from using the "space" on the line that the ADSL uses, so if you put the filter on the ADSL line then it blocks the modem from using that part of the line.
