Final Cut Pro X

We have 2 Mac Pro's at work used as dedicated Final Cut 7 boxes. Will uprade those to Lion and FCP X as soon as it ships (and has been tested on our i7 Macbook Pro) ;)

Im in agreement with one of the comments that how can you give such a review when you have not used the product. many people (including myself) said that the ipad is a waste of time and useless when we first saw the launch but today I and amy wife have one and love it, so this makes the whole article null and void as he has not even tried FCPX.

Whilst I agree with your sentiment (it's better to give a review once you've used the product), I disagree with your conclusion (that the article is completely null and void). It's possible to raise good points, which should be taken into consideration, even if you don't agree with the article's final opinion. The author's not a hack, he works in the industry and probably brings that experience to bear when forming his opinions.

Additionally, whilst you may love the ipad, I think you'd find that many people (including myself) are yet to find a concrete use for it, so it's not a concrete analogy.

That said, as I mentioned, I've never used FCP, but I thought the article was well reasoned, and a breath of fresh air against the many "oooh, pretty" articles currently being written about FCPX. Sometimes a little cynicism is necessary, if only to balance the rampant fanboi-ism :D

For a moment there I thought you meant you'd somehow tested FCP X?!? Hahaha :)
