Final Fantasy 8 on PC Please Help

Hey guys

I wonder if someone can help me. I am a Final Fantasy Addict and will actually be buying a PS3 just to play FFXIII.

Earlier today in the office I had a MASSIVE chat with a fellow gamer regarding FFVIII and the PC fan boy refuses to even play the game as it is on console.

As such I am looking for the PC version of 8. I know that it was released, and if possible I would like to even buy it digitally. The game holds such awesome memories for me and I want to show this PC fan boy what a real awesome J styled RPG is like :D

Anyone able to help? Preferably the legal route as well :P
 
You will really battle to find it legally, and for a reasonable price if you do. I'd start off by checking Ebay.

I know for a fact you can get it on the newsservers though ;)

Call me Quick, or add me on Xfire, i think i can get it somewhere, or i hope so.

If you cannot get a PC copy, there are a couple of PS copies flying around. You can use the PS emulator on the PC and play it.

I'm just picking up this thread here in the office, I think if I remember correctly I do have the original PC version of FF8 game at home, I will go back and check it and will let you know.

Hey bud :D

Shot for the heads up, I managed to get my hands on a copy. Will be testing it out tonight :P

Will let you know if I can get the thing to work!
