I finally have coverage and wanted to know if neotel would send someone to see what speeds i would get on the prime unlimited , does anyone know if they would do this?

the coverage will only be for the new revision devices, so you'll have to wait till its officially launched afaik

Lucky. I still got no coverage, and don't think I will be getting. All around me there is good to fair coverage, and then there is a little strip of no coverage that my place just happens to be. . . I mean really, what are the chances?

I also finally got coverage but I'm not sure if I want to swap..Matrix is all going good so far? I want to also go unlimited and I'm in excellent coverage. I'm really happy that they're finally in my area but still not sure.

Also recently got coverage, seems the coverage map was updated after how long

Well at least they are expanding I guess. Doesn't help me but happy for you people. . . *Walks to dark corner, sits down and start crying. . .

I'm glad to see that there are indeed some happy customers for Neotel. I realy hope that you all remain happy with your service. (Not going to mention the overhead billing issues - You can read all about that in the other threads).

I was a happy Neotel NeoConnect user. I got my service when they launched in April/May 2008; I had excellent coverage for a number of months and then suddenly my throughput downed from 500kbps / 1000kbps+ to an average of +/-250kbps. Sometimes I get a pathetic painstakingly slow DL like in the old days of the analog dial-up. It eventually struck me that the device showed from zero to 2 bars signal strength on the display.
After months of complaining to the call center and technical staff visiting my premises, performing tests and comparing two devices of the same type, I eventually asked the question - "When are you guys going to do something about my problem?" I have been offered to test a yagi antennae to check if the reception quality is better, because modifications have been done at the base station on the hill as there is a larger content of customers in another direction. (i.e. They turned the antennae to assist others and well, stuff the rest.) Well, pointing the antennae to the closest tower made absolutely no difference; but pointing it to a tower that is approximately 10Km away - Full signal. I still haven't had a chance to mount the aerial in a suitable place and check the thru-put due to rainy weather.

My point is - Is this how Neotel catch there customers? Size you up with a brilliant service, get you signature on a 24 month contract, and then turn the antennae at the base tower to rope in some more customers!!!! I got screwed over and now am paying for a lousy service.
