Finally found a car after months of looking!

07 Audi A4 50 000 on the clock.

All the bells and whistles I could ever ask for.

Picking her up this afternoon. :D

Nice!
Stay away from Audi Rivonia and Northcliff for services and repairs though. Reeeaaal bad service in my and my friends experience.

Used to the multi? They're friggen weird to drive initially!

I can't say I noticed anything weird when driving it. I will probably drive it in auto 90% of the time. Is the manual mode the weird part?

Ok, couple of things if you want it to last:

1. Wait until the engine is warm before putting foot.
2. When close to your destination, slow down for the last few kms. This will let the turbo cool down. If you can't, let the car idle for a minute or so before switching off.

Thanks Naks!

I have a TDi and have always done that with her. So many people don't know how to treat turbo cars and thats where I think they get their bad name.

You have to love and nurture them. :)

No, auto is! You'll notice it the first time you floor it down an onramp to join a highway. The revs go and sit at 5,000-odd RPM and just stay there while your speed climbs. It's peculiar. See here.

No idea. I'm trying Fourways next. You tell me about Sandton and I'll tell you about Fourways. :D

hahah deal :D

O weird, I can't say I noticed it on my test drive, but then again I didn't hammer it. Well I will soon find out lol.

Congrats! I am sure you will enjoy your new ride, especially after searching so long for it.

Thanks chaps. Haven't got any pics loaded yet.

I feel like driving to Durbs, just for fun. :D
