Nice! Finally found a car after months of looking!
07 Audi A4 50 000 on the clock.
All the bells and whistles I could ever ask for.
Picking her up this afternoon.![]()
2.0T, TDI, what? Colour?
Oh, and congrats. May she treat you well!
Nice!
Stay away from Audi Rivonia and Northcliff for services and repairs though. Reeeaaal bad service in my and my friends experience.
Quartz grey, 2.0T multitronic.
Used to the multi? They're friggen weird to drive initially!
Ok, couple of things if you want it to last:
1. Wait until the engine is warm before putting foot.
2. When close to your destination, slow down for the last few kms. This will let the turbo cool down. If you can't, let the car idle for a minute or so before switching off.
No idea. I'm trying Fourways next. You tell me about Sandton and I'll tell you about Fourways.Eish ok, will steer clear. Audi Sandton, they any good?
I can't say I noticed anything weird when driving it. I will probably drive it in auto 90% of the time. Is the manual mode the weird part?

No, auto is! You'll notice it the first time you floor it down an onramp to join a highway. The revs go and sit at 5,000-odd RPM and just stay there while your speed climbs. It's peculiar. See here.
Nice how long you planning on keeping it?
Congrats!
I'm jealous and happy for you![]()
